GTA 6 Prices Officially Revealed: Standard Edition Costs $80, Ultimate Edition $100
After months of speculation, Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the pricing for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6). The Standard Edition will launch at $79.99, while the Ultimate Edition will retail for $99.99. Pre-orders officially open on June 25 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, ahead of the game’s release on November 19, 2026.
The Ultimate Edition includes several exclusive features and locations that won’t be available in the standard version. Among them are a custom vehicle workshop for interior modifications and the “One-Eyed Willy” off-road garage, where players can upgrade and customize SUVs, along with additional premium in-game content.
GTA 6 will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with support for multiple languages, including Russian. Rockstar has also confirmed that physical boxed editions will contain a download code instead of a game disc, allowing players to preload the game before launch.

GTA 6 Map Revealed: Rockstar Expands Beyond Vice City to an Entire State
One of the biggest differences between Grand Theft Auto VI and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is already clear. Rather than recreating a modern version of a single city, Rockstar Games is building an entire open-world state called Leonida—its satirical take on Florida.
The new map stretches far beyond Vice City, combining glamorous beach resorts, remote swamps, industrial districts, small towns, and vast protected wilderness into Rockstar’s largest and most diverse setting yet.

Although Vice City remains the heart of the game, it retains the atmosphere that made the original so iconic: luxury beachfronts, neon-lit nightlife, exotic supercars, organized crime, palm-lined streets, and the sharp contrast between wealth and social decay. This time, however, players will be able to explore an entire state surrounding the city instead of being confined to a single urban area.
Rockstar has already revealed several major regions across Leonida, including the tropical Leonida Keys, the swampy Grassrivers, the run-down coastal community of Port Gellhorn, the industrial town of Ambrosia, and the expansive Mount Kalaga National Park. Together, these locations promise a much larger, more varied open world than anything previously seen in the Grand Theft Auto series.
